Store decking boards
Storage takes place between delivery and transfer. To ensure that the wood does not warp during this phase, please note the following tips and information for professional storage
Store the decking boards horizontal.
Provide enough support points, so that the floorboards do not sag.
avoid free ends of the planks so that the plank ends do not twist.
Store the planks integrated, dry and well ventilated – strapped with tension belts, for example.
Store wood outside or in an unheated, well-ventilated area or shelters such as a carport, garage or canopy.
Pack the wood not airtight, otherwise moisture easily collects and the floorboards warp. Avoid rain and sun.
