Deutsche Welle reports on Betterwood

Deutsche Welle broadcast a TV report about Betterwood in English on the first weekend in November - that was a great surprise. It was only through the many messages from Namibia, Korea, Chile and other countries that arrived in our inbox on Monday that we were able to track down the report.

Broadcast in over 160 countries

We are pleased and proud that our campaign to protect the rainforest through the tropical timber trade has received such a great response – and thanks to Deutsche Welle, it has now been broadcast internationally in over 160 countries.

Most of the viewers' messages came from forest users and sawmill operators who wanted to find out about converting their production to sustainable forestry. It's a good thing that the company's vision has such a concrete impact: promoting sustainable forestry and stopping the displacement of forests by agriculture.
