The Forest Stewardship Council – FSC for short – is the internationally recognized certification system for wood from responsible forestry. The most important goal of the FSC is that the forests of our planet are used in a more environmentally friendly, socially responsible and economically viable way. The FSC, established in 1993 following the Rio Summit on the Environment, is a non-governmental, not-for-profit organization.

Here is reported about the sustainable forest management in Peru, from which our Cumaru and Garapa come. The report also shows what distinguishes us from conventional timber traders: "Sustainable tropical timber, as directly and completely transparently as possible".
