Garapa is a light tropical wood of the first resistance class with a homogeneous surface. The decking boards are hand-sorted and carry the certificate FSC® 100%.

Garapa decking boards in 145mm width
Smooth decking boards made of light wood with the best durability - these are our decking boards made from the tropical hardwood Garapa. Because the wood has very good dimensional stability, it is also often used as a pool surround. Since the Garapa decking boards are planed smooth on all sides, they can be easily laid as garden parquet without any visible screws. In addition, smooth surfaces on wooden terraces dry faster and are therefore less slippery than grooved terrace boards. The garapad boards from BioMaderas come from FSC® 100% – certified forestry in Bolivia. Substructure: wood instead of aluminium
For this decking board, we recommend a substructure made of hardwood with very good resistance (at least class 1-2). We advise against an aluminum substructure, since the risk of the screws tearing off is too great here due to the rigidity of the material.

We are very satisfied with the goods and the service. We had very good communication (both by phone and by e-mail) regarding the delivery date and other accessories required (nothing was pushed - only informed). I thought it was great that we agreed the delivery date directly with the retailer in an uncomplicated manner (no forwarding to any logistics) - we were informed of an earlier possible delivery and the date was changed accordingly. They don't deliver with 40t (which would be a problem in our constantly parked street) and the supplier didn't look stressed and unloaded the goods calmly and patiently.
The decking boards are great and very easy to lay. It took us about 7 hours to lay and oil the 8-2 parts.
