Application
The BioMaderas oxalic acid-based terrace cleaner is mixed in lukewarm water at a ratio of 1:10 to 1:15, then applied to the swept wooden terrace with a watering can. The boards can already be wet for treatment so that the cleaner works mainly on the surface and not in the wood. After a 10-minute exposure time, the terrace is scrubbed with a brush. This loosens dirt, algae and fungi on the terrace boards. The terrace is then rinsed with clean water.

Simply pour the watering can onto the wood, wait a bit, sweep away with a hard broom and keep pouring water over and over again so that all the dirt is washed away. I used the patio cleaner for the first time on a 2-year-old Cumaru wooden patio. The patio had been treated with BioMadera's light patio oil the first spring and looked grey and partly greenish after the winter. I mixed the patio cleaner in a watering can and poured it onto the patio using the shower head. After about 10 minutes I brushed the patio with an electric scrubber. The result is clear just by brushing. The dirt is very easy to remove and what remains is a clean and algae-free surface with the natural wood color. Then I rinsed the patio with clean water. Make sure to wear gloves otherwise your fingers will discolor - how do I know?
Perfect terrace cleaning without much effort and without damaging the wooden surface with a high-pressure cleaner, for example. Perfect! I then treated the terrace with BioMaderas light terrace oil and the terrace looks like new.
