Modulus of Elasticity

The "Modulus of Elasticity" (MOE) is the so-called modulus of elasticity, which indicates the relationship between tension and elongation of a piece of wood.

The MOE is often used to calculate the elastic deflection properties of a material, it is considered a control parameter for the elastic properties of solid materials. In other words, how the elastic deformation affects the workpiece.

The deformation that is exerted on the workpiece can be caused by pressure or tension. The elastic deformation means that the workpiece deforms back to its original state after it has been deformed. The difference between before and after the MOE test is measured. The harder a material is, the higher its "modulus of elasticity".
