Jatoba is a reddish-brown tropical wood with a smooth surface and very good durability. The decking boards are 21mm thick, hand-sorted and carry the certificate FSC® 100%.

The smooth decking boards made from the tropical wood Jatoba with excellent durability, very good dimensional stability and a smooth surface. In the sun, the planks darken considerably and get their strong red-brown colour. The Jatoba decking boards from BioMaderas come from one FSC® 100%-certified forestry in Peru. Substructure: wood instead of aluminium
For this decking board, we recommend a substructure made of hardwood with very good resistance (at least class 1-2). We advise against an aluminum substructure, since the risk of the screws tearing off is too great here due to the rigidity of the material.
