“Cumaru is an incredibly tough blade. Sawing and screwing is a bit tedious. But it was worth it. You can see the value of the wooden terrace. Thank you for the great planning and advice!”
“The most important thing for us was durability. And that's where Cumaru has the best values. In addition, the wood should be obtained sustainably. There was the concept of Betterwood most believable. We have been looking forward to our great terrace for four years now and are happy with our decision.”
“I replaced our weathered Douglas fir decking and installed 18m² of Cumaru. Although I had extensively informed myself online, the advice got through to me Betterwood also very helpful. The quality is also right. The floorboards were largely free of defects and hardly warped. Before processing I had wg. respect for the high density of the wood. The cut was made with a powerful chop saw and pre-drilling with an HSS drill and high speed. Aligning the substructure is very easy with the pedestals. Five stars!"
“We installed the Cumaru decking together with a Cumaru substructure. The quality was much better than the wood at the hardware store. The fastening system with the clips also worked great, although it was a little complicated. Thank you for the great advice!”
“I laid the approx. 60 sqm terrace with 90 mm Cumaru terrace boards and a Cumaru substructure. The quality of the delivered floorboards was great. The clip attachment system also worked well, although it was a bit tedious. ( alone )
Thank you for the very professional and nice advice!”

We would like to thank you and all our colleagues who supported us in the planning and implementation of our dream terrace. We felt that we were receiving individual advice and the best possible support from you at every moment. We are very satisfied both with you as a company and with the Cumaru wood we have purchased and would therefore recommend you at any time. "

Observe notes and technical rules
Please note that the customer terraces should not be seen as an example of a construction according to the technical rules and were often laid individually according to the customer's ideas. For terraces, it is always important to ensure adequate ventilation. This is achieved, for example, with a distance of 2 cm from fixed structures and curbs or with ventilation grilles. Before starting construction, read our terrace guide, which we offer for free download.
