Jatoba wooden tiles 30×30 cm
Jatoba is particularly durable and supple wood. The weatherproof plastic grid with a practical plug-in system enables it to be laid without tools on any level and solid surface outdoors: on the terrace, balcony and garden. Outside, the wood initially darkens and acquires its strong reddish-brown colour. After months of weathering, brewing sets in. If you want to keep the color of the tiles and prevent surface cracking, you should wash the tiles with our decking oil treat.

The origin
Our jatoba tiles come from the same forest in the Madre Dios region of Peru that our jatoba decking boards come from. In the forest and sawmill, the high social and ecological standards of the FSC® are observed and exemplary forest management is practiced.

Our sorting criteria
Every decking board is checked by us for errors. However, not every irregularity is sorted out. You can find out in detail what you can expect from our manual sorting in our sorting criteria.

We had samples of all four woods sent to us. Cumaru felt too rough, teak and garapa were too light for us. We chose Jatoba because of the color and the pleasant surface. The tiles look great and way better than those discount store acacia tiles we had before that had an awful lot of splinters.
