BETTERWOOD " ADVICE » WOOD TILES " ORIGIN
The origin of our wooden tiles
The wood for our tiles comes from sustainably managed forests. As a sign of compliance with high ecological and social standards, the tiles carry the FSC® 100% certificate.
Cumaru wood tiles from Peru
Our Cumaru wood tiles come from an FSC®-certified forestry in Peru. Further processing takes place in a suburb of Lima. We keep direct contact with the supplier and personally check the working conditions and sustainability in the forestry. In addition, our Peruvian supplier and our company are checked by independent auditors for compliance with the FSC® standard.
Teak wood tiles from Vietnam
Only wood from sustainable and FSC®-certified reforestations is used in the FSC®-certified production of our teak tiles in Vietnam. Here, too, we regularly make sure that ecological and social standards are being observed on site.
